Job Title: Warehouse and Logistics SupervisorJob DescriptionDevelops the warehouse and logistics department to provide a variety of services including warehousing, distribution, transportation, materials management, and fulfillment services. Gathers needed information on and understanding of customer demands; meets specific needs for transloading, just-in-time shipping, inventory management, distribution, and fulfillment. Builds and maintains relationships with all departments to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reductions. Identifies problems and inefficiencies in the materials management and logistics processes; develops and implements changes in the process and procedure to ensure all material handling and logistic functions operate efficiently with a sense of urgency. Maintains current knowledge of logistics and technology developments and trends; recommends and implements improvements based on this knowledge to provide more efficient service to clients. Performs other related duties as assigned.Responsibilities

• Hires and supervises warehouse and logistics team and responsible for all departmental functions.
• Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the department.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
• Develops the warehouse and logistics department to provide warehousing, distribution, transportation, materials management, and fulfillment services.
• Gathers information and understands customer demands to meet specific needs for transloading, just-in-time shipping, inventory management, distribution, and fulfillment.
• Builds and maintains relationships with all departments to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reductions.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Warehouse management, or related field desired
• Ten years of experience in distribution or transportation industry required
