They are team players, creative thinkers and impatient doers.Summary of Position: The Warehouse Assistant will provide assistance in the everyday operations of a warehouse. The assistant is made responsible for the efficient way the warehouse is running, and for this to happen must perform various activities. This job will be through an Agency.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle and operate the necessary tools to maintain and manage a warehouse

• Load and unload delivery trucks

• Check quantity and type of goods received against the bill of lading

• Notify sender of any damaged or missing goods

• Help plan efficient use of warehouse space

• Label, organize and record the location of goods in the warehouse for efficient accessKeep neat and clean warehouse premises

• Monitor warehouse stock and re-order as needed. Ship goods as needed

• Monitor and manage inventory control

• Prepare dispatch notes and labels upon requests

• Prepare goods for daily pick up by freight companies

• Compare shipping rates to find the most efficient and economic

• Communicate clearly with manufacturers, distributors and sales reps

• Quality control of goods in and/or goods out

• Perform crystal pressing process on our products as needed

Qualifications:

• Some knowledge of the warehouse environment

• Self-motivated and detailed organizational skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Prioritizes responsibilities to achieve results

• Valid driver 's license and clean driving record
