Warehouse Assistant - Niels Fugal Sons : Job Details

Overview:

This position is responsible for helping in various duties around the yard including, cleaning, unpacking, loading, transferring, Etc.

Responsibilities:

• Unload deliveries using forklift or other approved equipment
• Entering into various computer systems inventory data
• Clean and maintain warehouse and surrounding yard area including trash bins
• Organize material in their specific locations by hand and/or with equipment
• Help crews load material throughout the day
• Fix broken lights/doors around the office
• Move vehicles/equipment around the yard
• Ensure that the Company Safety Program is followed
• Ensure that the necessary safety equipment is available

Qualifications:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Ability to operate forklift/backhoe/trackhoe/loader
• Class A CDL desired
• Beginner-Intermediate computer skills, including Excel
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Physical requirements (reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to preform essential functions): While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and climb or balance. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
