Position: Warehouse Associate 1st Shift Hours: 7am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $22-23/hour + $0.50/hour shift differential (potential to earn up to $27/hour based on performance and experience)

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate with experience operating forklift trucks and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Experience with scanning guns in a warehouse environment is a big plus! This position offers competitive pay with opportunities for growth.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate storage, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy of products in both frozen and dry goods warehouse areas. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner; candidates must be capable of passing forklift certification.
• Use RF technology or ERP systems to issue materials to work orders, track inventory, and ensure real-time transactions.
• Efficiently unload, store, and move products between storage areas and the production floor, maintaining proper organization in both frozen (24F to -10F) and dry goods warehouses.
• Prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct quantity and type of product is accurately picked, loaded, and shipped according to customer standards.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories.
• Perform inventory transfers and adjustments in the system as needed, reconciling inventory variances and discrepancies.
• Ensure warehouse areas, including shipping and receiving docks, are well-organized and maintained for optimal operations.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Forklift Experience: Skilled in the safe and efficient operation of forklifts, with experience in a warehouse setting.
• Warehouse Technology: Familiar with ERP systems and/or RF technology equipment to handle inventory, work orders, and shipment tracking.
• Inventory Control: Knowledge of inventory control systems, and the ability to perform real-time inventory updates.
• Cold Storage Experience: Able to work in cold storage environments with temperatures ranging from 24F to -10F.
• Strong Communication Skills: Able to effectively interact with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with scanning guns in a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes and how they integrate into broader company operations.
• Experience managing inventory variances and reconciling discrepancies.
