Warehouse Associate- forklift - Pridestaff : Job Details

PrideStaff/Southfield is Hiring a warehouse general labor associate to work for a world leader in the field of Automotive Systems.Temp to hire.Compensation, $16Shifts, 10am-6:30pm Monday-Friday with optional over time on Saturday.Responsibilities: Depending on the specific area assigned, assists in some or all of the following: • Receipt of incoming materials, product or returns • Movement of stock to appropriate locations within the warehouse• Utilization of industrial powered trucks, such as hi-los, swing reaches, stand-ups, and floor jacks • Verification of part locations and quantities • Gathering of merchandise for distribution to the customer • Preparation of outgoing shipments • Inventory control Required Skills/Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. • Must be able to work effectively with little supervision • Must be organized, have excellent communication skills and proficiency in Math Desired Skills • 1-2 years Warehousing experience within the Automotive industry preferred • Equipment safety and operations training preferred • Powered industrial vehicle experience (i.e. Banding equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, stand-up order pickers, stretch wrap machine, swing reach truck) preferred • Experience with bar scanning equipment is a PLUS For more info please call PrideStaff at 248 ### ####.
