Job Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Associate performs physical and/or administrative tasks related to the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. The role involves ensuring inventory accuracy, performing quality checks, operating warehouse equipment, and complying with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Perform quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments. • Stage and pack outbound shipments in accordance with site policies. • Execute ERP system transactions on outbound and inbound shipments. • Update FMS for parcel and freight shipments. • Learn to use handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management System to fulfill orders. • Maintain inventory accuracy. • Handle and control hazardous materials on both inbound and outbound shipments. • Comply with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulations. • Complete required safety training and follow protocols in risk situations. • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for tasks. • Lift up to 75 pounds unassisted. • Obtain certification on powered industrial trucks including work assist vehicle (WAV), off the ground order picker, reach truck, dock stocker, and powered pallet jacks. • Create repair RMAs and manage receiving and shipment issues within repair systems. • Develop familiarity with a subset of products, processes, operational metrics, and software tools. • Provide input for continuous improvement, work instruction documentation, and process standardization. • Resolve basic problems of limited complexity under direct supervision and perform rudimentary analysis. • Perform activities to evaluate and maintain equipment. • Create expense orders for internal repair consumption. • Ensure compliance with ISO requirements and assist external auditors as necessary. • Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required. • At least 1 year of relevant experience. • Effective communication skills. • Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office. • Proficient understanding of the use of a desktop. • Basic math skills, ability to read a ruler. • Fundamental reading and writing skills. Licenses/Certifications: • None required, but certification on powered industrial trucks (e.g., WAV, reach truck, powered pallet jacks) is a plus. Education: High School
