RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inbound: Unloading of trucks, verifying shipment counts, storage of product in the warehouse. Outbound: Accurate fulfillment of orders in alignment with listed due dates, as well as loading onto trucks Comfortable using heavy equipment including forklift, pallet jack, and cardboard baler Able to work as part of a team. Collaborate with Volunteer Coordinator to have product items shucked and prepared as requested Cycle counts of warehouse product to maintain accurate inventory counts Maintaining a clean work environment through garbage disposal and sweeping Answering inquiries into available inventory

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Required to stand for long periods of time Required to be able to bend and perform repetitive motions Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds Able to move pallets weighing up to 2,000 pounds *

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to do simple multiplication, addition, and subtraction Forklift certification required or successfully complete within first 30 days of hire Attention to detail and time management skills Proficiency using warehouse management software Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States HS Diploma
