Warehouse Associate - Plumbers Supply : Job Details

Plumbers Supply Co, a local family-owned company, has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate at our Main Street Location in Louisville. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform tasks related to order picking.

Schedule is Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm (with possible required overtime)(hrs can be subject to change).

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

* Accurately pick products by matching number and products using RF Scanner.

* Read customer orders and pick ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.

* Updating inventory in ERP after each item is picked.

* Helping team members maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment that is safe & accessible for salespeople, customer traffic and employees.

* Maneuvering heavy inventory using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

* At Least 1 year of prior Warehouse Experience

* Customer Service Focused

* Dependable Attendance

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Attentive to Detail

* Motivated to Train & Learn

* Stamina to Stand & Walk for entire shift

* Computer Proficient

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

* Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance.

* Repetitive use of fingers, hands, wrists and arms with good manual dexterity, to operate hand-held devices, small machinery and other stationary and hand-held tools.

* Regularly push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, squat, bend, twist, grab, and reach above the shoulders.

* Ability to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
