We are hiring a Warehouse Associate in Bronx, NY. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for receiving and storing inventory and properly shipping customer orders accurately and required to maintain and organize shop inventory. Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment. Warehouse work requires the use of safety equipment, eye safety glasses, and steel toe work boots. Duties & Responsibilities •Satisfactorily preparing materials for shipment (prepping freight shipments) •Loading/offloading trucks •Keeping an organized/safe work area •Restocking materials in the warehouse •Assisting with annual Inventory •Forklift Operation •Ability to lift 100lbs •Ability to be on feet for extend periods of time •Will be asked to utilize hydraulic machinery (presses, reeling machine, pull test machine) •Light welding as needed •Other duties as assigned Requirements Education & Qualifications •High school or equivalent •Driver's license, preferred Experience: •Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position. •Ability to be certified to operate a forklift. •Good attention to detail with the ability to direct work and meet customer deadlines. Communication Skills: •Basic reading, writing, arithmetic and communication skills required
