Job Description :

WeConnect is looking for a Warehouse Associate to work out of our Tuscaloosa, Alabama location! You will be performing a variety of warehouse functions, continually loading and unloading products in a safe and timely manner as well as assisting with grounds keeping & helping to facilitate and ensure vehicle maintenance and upkeep. Daily warehouse and shipping activities to include:

  • Receive incoming materials via LTL, UPS, FedEx, etc. in a safe and timely manner.
  • Ensure that received shipments are accurate and have the proper supporting documentation.
  • Distribute incoming materials to appropriate area or personnel.
  • Satisfy internal shipping requirements (technical service, vendors, etc.) by filling and shipping customer orders.
  • Complete work orders from production.
  • Package assemblies and receives finished goods.
  • Ensure inventory transactions are correctly logged; oversees cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
  • Assist team lead and other associates with all inventory replenishment reports and inventory related communications with other departments.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate quality problem-solving skills, organization skills, and detail orientation.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Understanding of basic math principles such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measurement using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Adept at using technology and basic internal and external computer programs.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office systems.
  • Safety mindset.
  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 75-100 pounds.
  • Experience in safely operating warehouse equipment such as a pallet jack, Hi-Lo and/or a forklift.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hour shift Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment screen, to include a drug test and an acceptable driving record. Salary Description $16.50
