Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Shift Differential Pay: 2nd shift is an additional $2/hr. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Job Level 1 - Warehouse Associate
- Adhere to all Gaia safety and quality policies.
- Load, unload, and transport products using various powered industrial trucks.
- Receive, ship, and transfer inventory records via Gaia WMS.
- Pull and prepare products for production shop orders.
- Pack and ship small parcel shipments.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts.
- Perform 5S/cleaning tasks as required.
Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of tasks related to the internal supply chain/warehousing/fulfillment operations at Gaia Herbs. Supervisory Responsibilities None Requirements Qualifications Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED is Required.
- 1 year Warehouse/Logistics experience preferred.
- 1 year Powered Industrial Truck experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficient in math. (Including decimals and fractions)
- Communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Proficient or a willingness to be trained in the operation of multiple types of powered industrial trucks.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of a warehouse and its equipment, operations and scales.
- Ability to come in early and or stay later than scheduled shift to accommodate the daily company needs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write short documentation and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
