Overview: The primary responsibility of a Warehouse Associate is to have the ability to use an RF gun and to accurately, neatly, and productively pick orders to a box in all areas of the shipping department. With the additional ability and/or knowledge to manifest shipments and load shipments. CORE RESPONSIBITLIES include the following and all other duties assigned:
- Accurately picking, packing, and checking orders. Some heavy lifting may be required.
- Assisting in receiving products into the warehouse and replenishing inventory on the shelves.
- Maintaining organization and cleanliness of warehouse.
- Experience with mobile equipment such as forklifts, ladders, and pallet jacks are a plus! If not, we can certify you!
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the shipping or receiving field.
- Ability to operate a forklift, rider reach truck, stock picker or hand truck.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Software and/or Integrated Logistics Solutions a plus.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be able to keep fast paced within the work environment.
- Able to work independently or within a team environment.
- Ability to use personal computers and applicable computer software to include MACS.
- Ability to be accurate in small detail and quality oriented.
- Ability to be flexible and versatile in job duties.
Pay Range: $18-19/hr Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus.
