Warehouse Associate - Power-Flo Technologies : Job Details

Power-Flo Technologies Buffalo is now hiring a warehouse associate/backup driver! This is a full-time, Monday - Friday opportunity. 7:30 AM - 4 PM. Salary Range: $16 - $20/hour + Benefits Benefits:

Warehouse Associate Key Responsibilities :

• Perform basic warehouse work to include, removing sold parts from stock, placing received parts on shelves, processing items for shipment, receiving, driving, organizing etc.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment
• Organize Inventory
• Maintain a clean Driver's License to operate company vehicles (to act as the back up driver on an as needed basis)
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle
• Plan delivery route to maximize efficiency and productivity for the day
• Obey all traffic laws and parking regulations
• Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver orders

Warehouse Associate Requirements :

• 2+ years of warehouse experience required
• Current, valid NYS driver's license (7 years clean driving record) to operate company vehicles
• Ability to obtain & maintain DOT certification
• Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies
• Ability to work well both independently and on a team and be willing to learn
• Ability to communicate in verbal and written from with functional English skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Box Truck experience (16-18 ft) and Flatbed truck experience is a plus. No CDL required.
• Forklift experience a plus

Warehouse Associate Physical Requirements :

• Ability to stand for up to 8 Hours
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds
• Ability to work on elevated platforms
• Ability to climb ladders
• This position may require standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and/or reaching
• You may be exposed to dust, loud noises, and hot and cold conditions
• Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills may be required for hand tools, power tools, and other machinery
