We are hiring! Roles are posted at all levels 1, 2, and Senior and will be filled based on skills, certifications, and experience. Role Summary The Warehouse Associate will be engaged in ensuring orderly receipt, movement, and distribution of inventory/consumables based on established policies, processes and procedures and predetermined stocking requirements. Contributes to the orderly operation of storage areas in the warehouse and vivarium. Also, the Warehouse Associate will support the inter-site transfer of samples, documents and other medical products in a company-provided vehicle and in accordance with standards. This is a non-exempt role that is eligible for overtime after 40 hours in a workweek and has no supervisory responsibility. Role Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect inventory/consumables shipments from delivery trucks
  • Verify accuracy of item quantities and quality - check for damaged or defective items
  • Submit shipping documents to Finance & Accounting for further processing
  • Organize and store inventory/consumables in assigned locations (rooms, shelves, bins, etc.)
  • Manage FIFO (first in, first out) methodology to ensure integrity of inventory/consumables
  • Monitor stocking levels and regularly communicate with Buyer and Procurement Manager
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and equipment use
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and improve operational efficiency
  • Safely transport samples, documents, and medical products to designated locations as required by site/department head
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting standards
  • Ensure all deliveries are made timely and in accordance with established schedules
  • Communicate effectively with team members and managers to resolve any operational challenges
  • Participate in training programs to improve skills and knowledge of warehouse/vivarium operations
  • Other duties as assigned
Role Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required or certifications in warehouse management a plus
  • 3-5 years of warehouse experience required. Vivarium/healthcare environment preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office core applications and the ability to learn and use additional applications
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Business Central or another ERP system desired
  • Valid license to operate a motor vehicle and fork-lift
  • Safe driving skills and ability to multitask
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Special Requirements
  • The person filling this position will spend approximately 70% of their time in a warehouse/vivarium environment and 30% in an office setting. There will be exposure to animal pathogens and chemicals
  • Ability to don and wear personal protective gear, including N95 masks and respirators
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs. Occasionally ascend/descend ladders and stairs
