HYBRID TILE WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE COMPANY: HornerXpress South Florida, Inc.REPORTS TO: Branch Manager - Fort LauderdaleFLSA: Non-ExemptHOURS: Full-timePosition Summary This position's primary role is to set and schedule appointment dates and assure a proper workflow of the receiving department. The ideal candidate will have strong follow-up and organizational skills as well as being able to work well in a team environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Pull orders based on PO and review for accuracy
  • Breakdown order counts to determine material to pull
  • Pack loose pieces securely for shipping
  • Number crates with order number
  • Stage order and turn in order confirmation to manager
  • Assist in loading trucks
Load/Unload Trucks
  • Lineup and stack like material together
  • Make efficient use of warehouse space
  • Assist drivers with loading and unloading inventory
  • Check orders for accuracy
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
Inventory
  • Physically count material received
  • Inspect condition and quality of inventory
  • Maintain bin location system
  • Signoff on inventory transfers in and out
  • Ensure overstock items are labeled with part numbers and quantity
  • Organize stock and maintain inventory
  • Move inventory and replenish stock as needed
  • Notify purchasing of low stock items
  • Consolidate material in crates/ pallets
  • Pickup loose debris and/or material
  • Sweep floor in warehouse daily and as needed
  • Garbage dumpsters schedule extra pickups as needed
  • Clean up around dumpsters and pack it down to maximize the loads
  • Keep empty pallets organized
  • Report any unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Assist counter area personnel with pulling orders during high demand
  • Help customers with loading product
  • Notify sales staff of any opportunities or changes in ordering
  • Forward any complaints or concerns to Branch Management.
  • Fill out necessary paperwork for product/warranty returns.
  • Empty vehicle and place returned merchandise in proper area.
  • Communicate any changes in customers' buying habits to Branch Manager or Salesperson.
  • Seek and achieve continuous personal improvement as well as suggesting new ideas that encourage personal, departmental and/or company growth.
