Forward is a single resource for your shipping needs.Position: Warehouse Associate LeadCore Responsibilities & Duties:Lead a team of logistics professionals to ensure organizational standards are metMaintain, and improve KPI requirements (both internal and external)Ensure staffing levels are adequateHelp to process daily shipments via common carrier, integrator, and freight forwarderCommunicating with customer and vendors globally, both in writing and verballyWork within multiple ERP platforms, WMS and MRP systems to ensure accurate inventory controlLight warehouse tasks such as labeling, coordinating trucking schedules, etc.Performs other related duties as assigned by managementOther duties as assignedJob Requirements & Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree is preferredExperience supervising a 3PL warehouse is a plusFamiliarity with managing to a P&LCandidate must be strong with using Excel, Word, and ERP platforms such as SAP or OracleUnderstanding and working knowledge of UPS WorldShip and FedEx Power shipProficient experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point and ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesInterpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with candidates and employeesStrong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalThis candidate must be able to work effectively in a highly cross-functional organization, as well as work independentlyRequires the ability to make judgments and work with minimum supervisionWhat We Offer:Competitive base salaryPaid time off within the first year of employment, sick time and holidaysCompany provided life insuranceHealth, vision, and dental insurance optionsCommuter benefit planOptional supplemental life insurance401(k)Wellness programA great place to work with a terrific cultureAbout UsSince 1990, Forward Air has been a leading provider of ground transportation and related logistics services to the North American air freight and expedited LTL market.
