Warehouse Associate - Seasonal - We Ship Express : Job Details

WeShip Express is looking for seasonal warehouse employees in our New Rochelle, NY location. These will be temporary positions that will work from now until the end of December 2024. We are seeking people who are looking to get their foot in the door with a quickly growing company. These temporary positions may be given the opportunity for regular full-time positions as those positions become available. Pay: $18 per hour Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9 AM to 5 PMAbout the Position These are temporary seasonal warehouse positions that will perform the following entry level warehouse jobs; Picker, packer, box maker, palletizer, material handler, cross dock, and quality assurance. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Performs quality inspections on outgoing shipments.
• Picks, packs, and handles materials for orders.
• Processes all packages for shipments to include; packaging, labeling, stacking, and palletizing.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
• Participates in quality improvement processes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• One to two years related experience or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods preferred.
• Forklift experience a plus but not required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a willingness to learn.

• Flexible, and able to move within entry level warehouse positions noted above.
• Acute attention to detail
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
