  • Compensation package $18.00 /hour - $23.00/hour(based upon experience)
  • 1st Shift Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, some overtime may be required

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?SUHNER USA, Inc. is seeking to fill the single role of Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Rome, GA. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the warehouse inventory and ensure the efficient flow of receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping of goods. CLERK RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Schedule daily shipments and pick-ups.
  • Pack outbound shipment
  • Re-pack and re-label products as needed
  • Maintain customer ABRACare inventory and transactions.
  • Delivery and restock ABRACARE cabinets within customer's facility.
  • Receive UPS, FedEx, & LTL shipments into ERP system.
  • Store product in assigned locations.
  • Deliver packing lists of received goods to Accounting.
  • Save shipping and receiving data into E-File.
  • Run daily ERP report (shipped not invoiced) and Shipping report (UPS & FedEx).
  • Create storage locations and install product labels
  • Maintain inventory accurately and perform routine cycle counts
  • Participate in inventory activity.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, various web browsers and email applications.
  • Receiving, stocking, and stacking
  • Pulling, packing, and loading
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Must be able to provide a clean Motor Vehicle Report
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
  • 1+ year(s) experience in a manufacturing shipping and receiving environment.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Forklift Certification within first weeks of job entry date
  • Basic math and reading skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Climate-controlled environment
  • Occassionaly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, crouch, and walk.
  • Able to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs. Unassisted and/or greater than 50 lbs. with team lift or lift assist device.
  • Ability to push/pull carts and/or pallet jacks
