Warehouse Clerk - Compunnel : Job Details

Job Summary: The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for managing the inventory, equipment, and materials within the warehouse. This role involves ordering, receiving, organizing, shipping, and maintaining records of materials and equipment. The Clerk will ensure that the warehouse is kept clean, efficient, and organized, while adhering to safety and quality standards. The role also involves unloading deliveries, verifying shipments, and preparing items for shipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory & Equipment Management: Order, maintain, and organize various inventory and equipment within the warehouse to ensure smooth operations.
• Receiving & Verifying Deliveries: Unload trucks, verify materials delivered, and ensure that all received items match the required specifications.
• Shipping & Preparing Orders: Prepare items for shipment by assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping materials and merchandise. Ensure proper handling and documentation for outgoing shipments.
• Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation for inventory tracking.
• Material Handling: Lift and load various types of materials and equipment onto trucks, ensuring the safety and integrity of goods during transport. Lift weights up to 75 pounds as required.
• Warehouse Organization & Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, following safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Collaboration: Follow the directions of the Warehouse Manager and work cooperatively with team members to meet operational goals.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 75 pounds) on a regular basis.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and keep accurate records.
• Good communication skills for working with team members and management.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain focus on safety and quality standards.
• Experience in a warehouse or inventory management role is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.

Experience with inventory software or management systems.

Certifications:

• Forklift certification (if required, or willingness to obtain).
