PositionSummary Underthe general direction of the Procurement/Fleet &Facilities Superintendent, the Warehouse Coordinator is distinguished by theirresponsibility for part running, receiving, maintaining functionalityof company fleet vehicles and equipment, purchasing, Expensing Inventory,Coordinating repairs for fleet vehicles, Facility maintenance, invoiceprocessing. Supporting all company staff. SpecificResponsibilities Inventory reconciliation, material receipts, purchase order procedures, and material issues to Operations, Distribution, and Maintenance field personnel. Checks materials received against purchase orders, note damage, defects, shortages, or other irregularities. Maintains and controls uniform issuance, cleaning/returns, and disbursement to field personnel. Properly marks materials to be dispensed for definite projects. Controls requisition requests for all items dispersed from inventory. Responsible for keeping the warehouse and material storage yards clean and orderly. Observes applicable safety practices in the operations of equipment and handling of materials. Take fleet vehicles for repairs to dealer of repair garage. Run parts out to field crew when needed. Help with small repairs and deliveries to facilities. Enter and update all service purchase orders needed with SJWTX with all required information. Follow up on any purchase orders that need more information and/or need additional approvals. Review invoices to ensure alignment with the purchase order and forward for approvals. Release funds from blanket purchase orders for specific invoices. Work with vendors to ensure the accuracy of quotes and purchase orders. Maintain the fleet database updating new vehicles as well as removing old vehicles. Manage fleet registration to ensure inspections and renewals are completed in a timely manner. Coordinate with SJW to obtain insurance for all current and new vehicles to include trailers and equipment. Work with the GPS System and vendor to ensure all fleet vehicles & equipment are up to date with current GPS units and in working order. Coordinating all maintenance for company's facilities. Ordering supplies for facilities. Maintain all scheduled maintenance for fleet and facilities. Create blanket purchase orders for routine annual maintenance. All other duties given by the dept Superintendent. RequiredKnowledge Skills & Abilities Ability to perform strenuous outdoor physical work requiring manual dexterity, agility, strength, stamina, and coordination. Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines; use discretion, and prudence in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with material and chemical vendors. Ability to perform tasks safely and efficiently. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to deal courteously and professionally with others as this position requires constant interaction with the Operations, Distribution and Maintenance personnel. Perform training with field staff for fleet related protocol. RequiredEducation and Experience The ability to learn TWC operations, parts, and equipment requirements specific to the operation, requisition protocol and approval authorities. Requirements include a high school/GED degree. Prior inventory control experience preferred Ability to use Microsoft office word, excel, etc. Ability to utilize personal computer and current applications of database management and inventory control software programs. OtherRequirements A valid Texas Driver's License withacceptable Motor Vehicle Record preferred. CDL preferred or able to require within 1yrof employment. Forklift certified preferred.
