Job Summary:The Warehouse Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and managing the dispatch of goods, ensuring timely delivery to customers while maintaining accurate inventory levels and effective communication with drivers and team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Dispatch responsibilities including routing, reconciling routes, and ongoing communication with drivers and customers via email, phone, and teams.
- Deliver items to customers by verifying orders and ensuring accuracy.
- Conduct inventory checks and manage stock levels.
- Arrange transportation for deliveries and shipments.
- Organize item orders by ensuring compliance with pricing, promotions, and weight regulations.
- Anticipate delivery requirements and expedite orders based on stock levels.
- Ship items by evaluating destination, route, rate, and delivery time; order carriers as needed.
- Verify items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, and noting discrepancies.
Required Qualifications:- Previous experience in a dispatch or warehouse environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using email and other communication tools for coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Experience with logistics and transportation coordination.
