Description Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the GM Defense Production Facility on a full-time basis (shift is four (4) 10's, Monday-Thursday) Role Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain material in DLOCs
- Pick parts to kits
- Comprehend ship schedule and build requirements
- Maintain PFEP (DLOC, coord ULOC)
- Maintain visuals (with MIN/MAX) in DLOC, kit cells, and lineside
- Stock parts to ULOC for each build
- Report MIN/MAX violations (alarms) to MFU
- Count parts in DLOC, kit cell, and ULOC and report
- Participate in floor safety review
- Participate in quality reviews
- Assist Dock operations as needed
- Completes administrative tasks, and supports leadership team as needed
Additional Description Physical Requirements:
- Quick response to safety instructions, alarms, and signals are a must
- Drive vehicles and equipment when needed
- Comfortably wear personal protective equipment
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- Navigate a busy warehouse
- Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach
- May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 40 lbs. depending on department
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
PLEASE NOTE: Role subject to U.S. export control restrictions. Successful candidates must either be a U.S. Person (defined by U.S. law as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) or a non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required export control authorization.
