Position Overview: The Warehouse Driver oversees and assists warehouse employees set up and operate all relevant equipment, load and move freight between warehouse locations, and document movement of materials in ERP systems.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
- Safely delivers loads between Bobs Red Mill warehouses and to local customers.
- Loads products safely without damage to product and equipment.
- Maintains accurate drivers logs and vehicle inspection reports.
- Performs pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections as necessary and when required.
- Safely operates forklift throughout the warehouse and in loading and unloading trucks.
- Assists with order selection, receiving, and inventory transfers as required.
- Completes orders and deliveries in an accurate and timely manner.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.
- Complies with Bobs Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Possesses effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of DOT requirements, including but not limited to random pool, FMCSA, and pre-post trip.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
- This position reports to the Transportation & Logistics Manager.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- 1 or more years of experience working within a warehouse, AND
- High school diploma or equivalent; OR
- Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid commercial class A drivers license.
- Must meet and maintain ODOT commercial driver eligibility.

Physical Demands:
- Good physical dexterity with the ability to stand up to 4 hours at a time, reach overhead, and walk on uneven surfaces.
- Frequently requires the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
- The primary work environment is within production and warehouse settings.
- The position requires the ability to work in and operate a tractor-trailer.
- Employees will be exposed to common food allergens.
