Description Position at Cregger Company SUMMARY Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Receives, sorts, and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.Label materials with identifying information.Weighs or counts items for distribution within branch to ensure conformance to company standards.Receive and pull purchase order details accurately and in a timely fashion.Perform various cycle counts.Working knowledge of company and warehouse data systems.Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.Safely and skillfully operate a forklift.Drives Company vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to branches, pick up items from several locations for shipment, and deliver orders to customers.Follow rules and regulations of the road at all times.Maintain courteous and professional appearance as well as maintain necessary customer service skills.Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other branches.Prepares parcels for mailing.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's, 12's, and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid state driver's license. Receive and maintain DOT Certification (Company provided)Must be able to successfully complete and maintain Forklift Certification.
