Job Description

A local manufacturer in northern Indianapolis is searching for a Warehouse/Driver on 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Using RF Scanner to pick and pack orders

• Using forklift to stage orders throughout the warehouse

• Loading and unloading trucks (both LTLs and Full Loads)

• Using sit-down and stand-up forklift to move materials

• Staging truck loads in the yard using semi-truck

• Driving semi-trucks to retrieve fuel when low

• Physically loading shipments weighing 50+ pounds

Essential Skills

• Active CDL-A Endorsement (Manual Truck)

• Stand-Up/Sit-Down Forklift Experience

• RF Scanner Experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with ERP systems

• Ability to generate Bills of Lading

Work Environment

The work hours are typically 40-45 hours per week, mainly Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime potential. The facility is very large, employing 70 employees, and contains a variety of equipment such as conveyors, glass processing machines, sanders, grinders, cutting machines, and a large amount of pneumatic tools used for custom tank builds. Safety is the number one concern, with all necessary PPE supplied to prevent injuries. The company is serious about ensuring employees get home safe every day.

Hours:

6AM - 2:30PM (they will typically work about 40-45 hours) ; A little bit of OT potential Monday-Friday
