Warehouse & Equipment Specialist - NEXTLINK : Job Details

Company Overview We are a Hudson Oaks, Texas-based Internet Service Provider (ISP) delivering High Speed Internet and Voice Services throughout multiple states to residential, business, K-12 Education and government customers. Job Summary: Responsible for day to day operations of the warehouse, such as, ordering, receiving deliveries, programming equipment and the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. • Shipping
• Receiving
• RMAs of faulty equipment
• Maintain a clean warehouse
• Operate a forklift safely
• Ordering and maintaining inventory minimum quantities
• Pull needed equipment from inventory for new tower sites
• Program equipment as needed
• Keep the warehouse and surrounding areas clean, including outside areas
• Prevent access to warehouse from unauthorized personnel
• Loading and unloading boxes/trucks/pallets
• Other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Must be able to communicate effectively to team and management
• Must be able to work independently and be reliable
• Must be organized and able to learn
• Work with basic hand tools
• Ability to lift/pull heavy equipment
• Must have a team-oriented mentality and be safety conscious
• Must pass a drug screening test and a criminal background check
• Basic computer knowledge and Microsoft programs is preferred

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Previous warehouse or similar experience preferred

Work Environment/Hazards:

• Working in a warehouse environment
• Working in outdoor elements such as cold, hot, precipitation and wind
• In proximity of heavy machinery and moving vehicles
• Moderate noise level

Physical Demands:

• Frequently moving in and around the warehouse
• Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms

• Frequently moving, transporting, positioning objects of 50 pounds or more

Working Hours/Days:

• Monday through Friday
• 7am - 4pm
• Full time
• Overtime if necessary

Travel Requirements:

• 0-10% travel required as needed
