Warehouse & Field Tech Trainee - D.H. Pace Company : Job Details

DH Pace Company, in Omaha NE, is currently hiring a hybrid role for a Warehouse Associate/Field Technician Trainee to join our team! We are looking for an individual who can play a pivotal role in managing the warehouse as well as being a helper for our field employees. This role will be a blend of onsite and in the field activities. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Receive and inspect materials, verify counts, sort and store stock, stage items for installation or shipment, and ensure accurate materials are ready for technicians
• Participating in physical inventory and cycle counts to maintain an accurate inventory
• Use software and equipment to track inventory, operate tools and machinery (e.g., box cutters, pallet jacks, forklifts), and maintain a clean and safe warehouse
• Assist technicians with the installation and service of doors and related products, including operating tools, delivering parts/materials to job sites, and project support
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Support warehouse and field operations with additional tasks as assigned

Successful candidates will:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1 or more years of Warehouse experience
• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required mechanical aptitude (preferred)
• Ability to safely lift 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Valid driver's license
