**Position Overview:**

We are looking for a skilled candidate with excellent attention to detail for the position of warehouse forklift driver/picker. Forklift operators will be responsible for loading and unloading of vehicles, managing inventory using bar code scanners, picking, and delivering of material to depts, among other duties.

* Ability to operate a forklift according to safety and OSHA standards.

* Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.

* Managing inventory using barcodes and scanners.

* Inspection and scheduling maintenance of equipment.

* Operating and managing technical equipment, including forklifts, pickers, golf carts, and tractors.

* Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat, and well organized.

* Picking orders as requested by departments.

* Receiving, counting, tagging, and putting away incoming inventory.

**Competencies:**

Able to pass a forklift certificate class

Ability to work with a diverse range of people.

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Well organized and detailed.

Basic computer skills

**Preferred Education and Experience:**

High school diploma & 1-2 years of manufacturing experience

**Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:**

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. These hours are subject to change based upon company needs.

**Work Environment:**

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses box knives, hammers, computers, and scanners.

**Physical Demands:**

Use of all ambulatory functions including standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, crouching, stretching, pulling and frequent lifting of 75+ lbs. This position could require long periods of standing.
