We are committed to pursuing every great idea and delivering the best ice cream experience for our consumers, when and where they want it.Main Purpose of Job: Effective and consistent handling of all assigned warehouse activities, with a good understanding of the machinery & processes ensuring desired results in terms of Quality, Safety, Hygiene, and Waste.Role and ActivitiesReceive, store, and deliver all materials to the Production Lines in a safe and efficient manner.Make cost-effective decisions in a timely manner regarding quality, safety, speed, and waste.Operate various warehouse management systems (SAP and RF), spreadsheets, and word-processing documents.Properly fill out all paperwork needed for operations.Ensure packaging and raw materials are rotated on a First Expired First Out (FEFO) basis.Verify Lot Control and FEFO for all floor deliveries and returns.Maintain good housekeeping in all Dry Warehouse storage and receiving areas.Collect supplies for Dry Warehouse when they arrive via postal or common carrier delivery.Monitor the availability, condition, and usage of plastic pallets.Be certified on safe operation of all Material Handling Equipment.Act with a sense of urgency to accomplish goals and tasks.Ensure complete and accurate shift handoff.Follow, monitor, and understand all GMP/HACCP/QMS and product safety regulations.Report any and all damage immediately.Communicate with team and supervisor to keep them informed of any issues.Train others as assigned.Measurable OutcomesReducing trends of rejections from food safety and quality issues.Improving hygiene, quality, and safety audits week over week.Effective interaction with the production team.Implementation of quality and improvement initiatives.Reduction in accidents and incidents on a YOY basis.Ensuring all trucks are received in a timely manner.Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.Position Qualifications18 years of age or older.Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Excellent interpersonal communication, math, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.One-year related experience (preferred).The position involves frequent exposure to nuts and other potential allergens.
