** Position Description**

**Warehouse Lead** Location **Headquarters - Trumbull, CT - 95** Position Summary:

The Warehouse Lead will report to the SK Warehouse Manager and have overall responsibility for the SK Warehouse and Receiving areas. This will be done underthe direction of the SK Warehouse Manager and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

1. Maintains and follows established BSR, SOP procedures for GMP, ISO, FDA compliance.

2. Maintains current and creates new departmental procedures when required.

3. Coordinates work load for the SK warehouse in support of organizational needs.

4. Monitors all movement from Receiving/SK to FG and outside vendors.

5. Tracks all established KPI within the SK area.

6. Ensures employees meet their established MBOs.

7. Actively supports all warehouse associates and leadership and fosters open communication as opportunities arise.

8. Ensures that work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized always.

9. Identifies waste and communicates potential solutions.

10. Manages overtime to meet production and warehouse needs.

11. Maintains the proper Kanban levels within the Value Stream locations.

12. Responsible for monitoring warehouse attendance and tardiness in Kronos.

13. Participates in decision-making process where respective area is impacted (i.e. ECN's, CAPAs, Variances).

14. Documents complete and accurate training records of the warehouse associates for management.

15. Performs transactions in DataFlo and monitor product movement from Receiving through delivery to end user (customers). Establishes metrics for same.

16. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our Cycle Count Program and identify root cause of material variances as required.

17. Assists in the enforcement of company rules and regulations as described in the Employee Handbook.

18. Tracks maintenance of all warehouse equipment: truck, forklifts, Drexel, reach trucks, etc.

19. Responsible for co-locating inventory and optimizing warehouse and receiving flow to increase overall capacity.

20. Performs other duties or assignments as required by management.

Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with ISO, FDA, and GMP requirements related to the Value Streams ability to produce and control product(s) and material(s).

2. Basic understanding of 5S, lean, and problem solving.

3. Product and manufacturing process knowledge.

4. Ability to work independently and with others.

5. Understanding of safety as it relates to their work environment.

6. Previous leadership and team building responsibilities.

7. Ability to manage multiple commitments and competing priorities.

8. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

9. Ability to identify and resolve warehouse problems relating to materials.

10. Passing of background check, which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction history, educational and driving records.
