We strive to provide exceptional service to every customer, maximize efficiency in our operations, and create a safe and fulfilling workplace for our team members.Highlights:This role will work in a retail temperature controlled fulfillment facility. The Shift Supervisor is a leadership role reporting to the Assistant Fulfillment Manager and is responsible for a shift's operations and staffing in one location. As a Fulfillment Shift Supervisor, you will support our Associates.Key responsibilities include supervising hourly employees, overseeing e-comm fulfillment, leading the team to achieve the planned weekly volume, coaching the day-to-day operation of the facility's staffing, and ensuring inventory accuracy, quality control, and personnel-related issues.BENEFITS OF JOINING OUR TEAMMedical, Dental & Vision eligible as of the date of hire401(k) with company matchCompetitive PayPaid company holidaysPaid Time OffWellbeing Programs: Spring Heath & Guardian EAPABOUT THE JOBAccountable for execution of facility operations for their shift, while ensuring that subsequent shifts are set up properly to succeedLeads daily shift standups by sharing operational/organizational announcements and leading daily stretchingOwning the performance metrics, understanding and reporting of metrics/data for designated shiftsConduct weekly check-ins and provide the appropriate follow up and supported for direct reportsTeach, train and develop the Facility Operations Associate or leads team to execute via standard processes and implementation of process changesProvides reporting, coaching, and disciplinary action recommendations for associates.Promptly escalate and document any issues with safety, injuries, Human Resources and/or Employee Relations policy violations, and Loss Prevention issuesRetrieve inventory reports for cycle counting and sign off on discrepancies over a specified thresholdManage IT equipment by checking in/out to associates, ensuring devices are charged at the end of shift, and sending out broken devices for repairManage to schedule meal and rest break periodsServe as the initial escalation point, managing exceptions, resolving issues, or escalating to appropriate partners where necessaryMonitor Human Resource compliance, asset protection, safety controls, overseeing the safety of our people and products, operational and quality assurance reviewsBuilds morale and fosters a collaborative / team-oriented work environmentAbility to perform all functions of an AssociatePerform other duties as assigned (cleaning, special tasks/projects/assignments, etc…)Hourly Rate: $24.00 per hourSAFETYPerform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.Ensure workspace, shelves, and aisles are clean and organized according to our health and safety standardsComply with all Food Safety standardsSafety responsibilities reside with each employee in order to maintain a safe workplace for themselves, their peers, and the public. That responsibility includes the elimination of hazards wherever possible, and reporting actual or potential hazards immediately upon their observation. Specific safety responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:Become familiar with, and comply with the Code of Safe Practices and specific work procedures as they apply to their area of authority.Conduct, attend and/or participate in training sessions as scheduled.Observe employee work and work areas, make corrections as per observed policy infractions.Respond to employee and other reports of safety concerns.Report all injuries and near miss incidents and unsafe conditions or work practices in accordance with Chapter 6 of the Written Safety Plan.ABOUT YOUExperience working with and supervising diverse teams of 10+ associatesPossess strong motivational and leadership skillsInterpersonal communication, organization, planning, and prioritization skillsAt least 21 years of ageEligible to work in the United StatesExperience working in fulfillment or retail environment (preferred)Ability to do the following:Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout shift/bend, twist, squat, kneel, turn, reachRemain standing or walking for the duration of the shift excluding meal periods and breaks as applicable, including up and downstairsAbility to walk up and down stairs and laddersPush and or pull carts and other equipmentOperate material handling equipment with associated training (e.g. pallet jack)Flexible schedule, availability to work holidays, evenings, and/or weekendsBe able to understand, communicate and comply with basic safety and job expectations, including performance and quality standardsABOUT TRANSCORP SERVICES LLCAt Transcorp, we believe in doing things differently.
