Description Our client, a luxury manufacturer of travel goods, is looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Specialist to join their team in Naples, FL. You will be taking over for their current team member who is retiring after being with them for 20 years. You will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving of their warehouse and distribution center. Although you'll be leading this department, their US operations are on a smaller scale with a 5,000 square foot facility. Over the course of the week, you will see a variety of raw materials and finished goods being sent to and from their facility in Naples as well as their factory overseas. Typically, there are around 750 shipments each week that vary greatly in scale - it could be a little package of rivets or a single pallet with finished goods. Because you will run this department, they're looking for someone who enjoys being autonomous and prefers to work in an environment where they can be their own boss so to speak. Responsibilities • Oversee weekly production for shipping • Coordinate shipments including boxing and labeling • Fulfill online and customer orders by picking and shipping items • Receive and consolidate raw materials for the primary factory • Manage container paperwork with detailed packing lists • Keep track of inventory levels • Create packing slips for shipments • Coordinate third-party freight services • Communicate with customers regarding shipment status • Provide support to the production team as needed Warehouse & Logistics Specialist (logistics/shipping/receiving exp. req.) Qualifications • 2+ years of logistics experience required • Background in shipping/receiving required • Well-versed in using Microsoft Excel required • Experience or comfortable learning how to use a Forklift required
