Our client, a moving specialist based in Hartford, CT, is seeking an experienced Moving Warehouse Manager to join their team.
Key duties of the Warehouse Manager role include, but are not limited to:
- In charge of organizing the loading, unloading, recording, and storing of every item during the relocation process.
- Examine all orders and the production plan for the moving procedure in order to facilitate an accurate distribution.
- Overall accountability for the operations of the warehouse.
- Accurately record the quantity of moving materials or goods that are received or dispersed.
- Complete the receiving tickets forms.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Experience Required:
- Experience in the relocation and moving sector. (At least six years.)
- MHE Accredited (Required)
- The capacity to lead and manage employees.
- Effective workforce recruitment and administration of the warehouse.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 suite of applications.
- Meticulous and well-organized.
- Understanding of inventory management.
- Very strong administrative skills.
- Aptitude for picking up new moving software.
- Capacity to collaborate with peers and work well as a team.
- Observe all safety guidelines.
