Warehouse Manager - Insight Global : Job Details

This is a permanent position and onsite 5 days a week in Van Nuys, CA.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a 3PL Logistics Manager for one of their top customers headquartered in the Houston, TX area. This person will be running the customers client warehouse located in Van Nuys California. They will be managing a team of 5-7 employees and the warehouse is about 12,000 square feet. The ideal candidate will have experience with a 3PL company and heavy experience with a Warehouse Management System (no preferred system). Also, they will need to be comfortable working closely with the customers client and providing / reporting daily updates. He/She will need to have experience with Lean Six Sigma and process improvement.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4+ years of experience as a Logistics Manager
• Experience working in a 3PL environment
• Extensive knowledge with a Warehouse Management System (no preferred system)
• Process improvement / Lean Six Sigma Experience
• Military experience preferred, especially in Military Logistics/Procurement
