A prominent manufacturer based in Vernon, CA, is looking for a Warehouse Manager to enhance our team. This role is crucial for overseeing warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per yearShift: FirstWork Hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PMEducation: High School

Responsibilities
  • Oversee employee activities in shipping, receiving, storing, and testing materials
  • Develop and implement safety and security programs
  • Issue job assignments, review work orders and invoices, and monitor material distribution
  • Supervise, train, and hire warehouse staff
  • Schedule employees, truck drivers, and loading dock use
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations for personnel and inventory
  • Verify shipping records, address inventory issues, and handle shipping concerns
  • Meet with clients to manage storage contracts and monitor facility use
  • Establish operational procedures for shipments, material handling, and inventory management
  • Coordinate with other departments (buying, production, quality, distribution)
  • Manage capital expenditures and inventory
  • Schedule outbound logistics
  • Train employees on company policies, SOPs, and safety procedures
  • Assist colleagues, attend meetings, and perform other tasks and special projects as needed
Essential Functions

  • Standing for 8 hours at one time
  • Working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
