GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Manager supports Space Needle LLC's mission, vision and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, personalization, commitment to community, leadership, accountability and ownership. The Warehouse Manager oversees all retail warehouse operations in support of the timely and accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing freight and related deliveries from receipt to proper placement and daily fulfillment in multiple retail locations. And all other duties related to maintaining a productive and safe warehouse. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Oversee training of all warehouse/stock team members to ensure high productivity and that all company procedures are followed, and standards are met.
  • Develop procedures and processes to maximize staffing efficiency to ensure that inbound product is processed and placed in the stores within a 48-hour period.
  • Create an environment of team with the warehouse team members, empowering them to transform moments to both internal and external guests.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and VP of Retail on capital improvements for warehouse needs.
  • Ensure highest standards for warehouse and storage rooms' organization and safety.
  • Collaborate with buyers to ensure efficiencies in warehouse processes related to merchandise inventory handling.
  • Submit requisitions, produce seasonal schedules, and interview/hire for open positions.
  • Conduct warehouse team member reviews (probationary and annual).
  • Enforcement of company policies and implementation of Progressive Discipline Process.
  • Oversee and assist in daily store replenishment to ensure all merchandise standards are met.
  • Take an active lead in annual inventories and ensure all on-site stock areas are prepared for inventory.
  • Lead role for auditing and reconciling discrepancies during inventory.
  • Update and communicate warehouse/stock team schedule and break information.
  • Ensure completion of weekday afternoon mail-run.
  • Maintain proper warehouse supply inventory.
  • Ensures that the warehouse area is secure at all times to ensure the integrity of the inventory.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors related to the operation of the warehouse and supply ordering.
  • Any other responsibilities as defined by Management.
  • Oversee the processing of all online orders through multiple sales channels.
  • Oversee the pulling and delivery of all wholesale orders in partnership with Business Development Manager.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure daily stock status changes are updated on order sheets.
  • Ensure weekly markdowns are completed per procedure.
  • Lead meetings to inform and motivate team.
  • Documentation of incidents and accidents relating to security, emergencies.
  • Liaison to Team Leaders and Buyers regarding product status.
  • Support team member recognition program.
  • Knowledge of Fire, Life, and Safety and emergency procedures.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of 5 years warehouse management experience required in high-volume and high SKU count facility.
  • Experience in a retail warehouse preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Valid WA State driver's license.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Retail Pro experience a plus.
  • Demonstrate a Guest First attitude.
  • Ability to work weekends and have flexibility with schedule to meet the business demand.
Full time, Salaried positionSalary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 DOE + Bonus up to 10%Benefits include:
