As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure the smooth and efficient management of our inventory and logistics processes.The Manufacturing Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and staff supervision. This role requires a detail-oriented leader who can optimize warehouse processes, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and collaborate with other departments to support production and distribution goals.Key Responsibilities:1. Operational Oversight:Daily Operations: Direct and manage the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of receiving, warehousing, and distribution functions.Order Processing: Supervise the accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders to meet customer delivery deadlines. Ensure proper documentation and handling of all shipments.Warehouse Layout: Working with senior management, develop and maintain an effective warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and streamline workflows. Implement efficient storage solutions to facilitate easy access to inventory.2. Staff Management:Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure high productivity and job satisfaction.Training and Development: Develop and conduct training programs for new hires and existing staff to improve skills, efficiency, and safety practices. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for warehouse staff, ensuring adequate coverage to meet operational demands and optimize labor costs.3. Inventory Control:Stock Management: Assist in inventory management processes, including tracking stock levels, managing reorder points, and coordinating with procurement to ensure timely replenishment.Audits: Assist in conducting regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and identify discrepancies. Implement corrective actions to address any issues.Inventory Systems: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, generate reports, and maintain accurate records. Ensure data integrity and timely updates.4. Process Improvement:Efficiency Optimization: Continuously assess and enhance warehouse processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase throughput. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to streamline operations.Technology Integration: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Evaluate and recommend new tools and systems to improve warehouse operations and productivity.Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate warehouse performance. Use data-driven insights to drive improvements and achieve operational goals.5. Safety & Compliance:Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies. Stay informed about changes in regulations and adjust practices accordingly.Safety Programs: Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and prevent accidents. Conduct regular safety drills and maintain safety equipment.Incident Management: Respond to and investigate any workplace incidents or accidents. Document findings and implement measures to prevent recurrence.6. Reporting:Performance Reporting: As needed, prepare and present detailed reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and staff performance. Highlight key achievements and areas for improvement.Operational Issues: Identify and report on any operational challenges or concerns. Provide recommendations to senior management for resolving issues and enhancing warehouse performance.Budget Tracking: Monitor and manage the warehouse budget, including labor costs, equipment expenses, and other operational expenditures.7. Customer Service:Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that the warehouse team meets or exceeds customer expectations in terms of order accuracy and delivery timeliness.Collaboration: Work closely with the customer service and sales teams to address order issues, manage returns, and handle special requests. Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a team.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.#J-18808-Ljbffr
