You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in.Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Manager in our San Antonio, Texas branch.The Facility 80 k sq. ftDirect oversight of 19+ associates, consisting supporting 20+ DriversHours include 5am - 12amResponsibilities Provide strategic leadership for our San Antonio, TX WarehousePromote and drive safety daily in the workplace, crafting a safe work environment for associatesProvide consistent communication to associates and counterpartsContinue to increase quality in customer deliveriesDrive high levels of inventory integrity within the buildingMaintain associate engagement throughout the warehouseMaintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training and providing professional development for all of its associatesLead and coordinate associates performing activities including unloading and stocking of inbound shipments, order selection and shipping of outbound orders, cycle counting, and final mile delivery services to our customersEnsure high standards of cleanliness are maintained in our sitesEnsure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completed daily and accuratelyMaintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to managementQualifications 3+ years' experience in distribution management supervising 10+ employees in a distribution/warehouse environmentA strong background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is requiredPrevious experience working in a WMS environment is requiredMust have leadership experience in leading and developing a team, mentoring, coaching, training, and performance managementAbility to work with people and build an environment that is positive and engaging for the associatesExcellent interactive communication skills with ability to effectively communicate to different levels of the organizationStrong computer skills to include expertise in Excel, Word, Power Point, and OutlookExperience managing a team of delivery drivers is a plusMaterial Handling Equipment CertificationProficient in OSHA and DOT regulationsAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
