WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Working in our Cadillac, MI location, the Warehouse Manager leads our warehouse team and oversees the receipt, storage, order preparation, and delivery of building materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Living Out Lumbermen's Culture - Leading in and modeling Lumbermen's core values while creating an atmosphere where Lumbermen's is 'first choice' of our customers.
- Modeling Safety - Collaborating with the Safet Manager to promote and implement processes to ensure the continued protection of all employee owners.
- Leading By Example - Staffing and Leading a team of employee owners; assuring that all team members are trained, directed, motivated and accountable to meeting established goals and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Lead along side of the team by performing warehouse responsibilities as a regular part of the job responsibilities.
- Continuous Improvement Leader - Leveraging talent in the operational areas to deliver continuous improvement ideas, while collaborating with employee owners in making continuous improvement initiatives.
- Managing Operational KPI's - Leading operational improvements for KPI's, including Continuous Improvement ideas and projects, to achieve specific targets and goals.
- Process Management - Ensuring proper execution and documentation of processes, which includes performance evaluations, accident reports, scrap, and others.
- Open Communication - Driving open and transparent communication with employee owners on company KPI's, individual performance, continuous improvement initiatives, and others.

Key Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma (associate or bachelor's degree desired)
- 3-5 years' warehousing leadership experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Prior supervisory experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
