Coordinates the distribution and warehousing activities in a multi-shift operation including employee staffing, equipment reliability, safety & quality assurance, operating procedures, and shipping compliance. Contributes to budget control and cost-reduction opportunities. Reviews/improves process efficiencies through effective team collaboration. Instrumental with executing the goals and objectives of the Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager. Coordinates, provides guidance, and reviews work of warehouse workers. Monitors warehouse workers ensuring all safety policies and procedures are adhered to. Assigns daily workload to warehouse workers. Assists with all warehouse tasks, depending on priorities designated by the Operations Supervisor or Regional Operations Manager. Prepares documents in accordance with applicable policy and procedures. Keeps work areas clean and organized. Monitors all areas to ensure housekeeping is constantly maintained.
