Summary:
Leads and performs a variety of warehouse duties, including the safe operation of all forklift equipment. Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) associated with the warehouse and production areas.
Essential Job Functions:
- Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
- Ability to be trained and operate all warehouse forklifts: Single Reach, Stand Up Counterbalance, Swing Reach
- Ensures all warehouse log books, and other relevant records are completed correctly and are current.
- Adheres to company uniform and gowning policies.
- Follows proper handling procedures.
- Responsible for conducting daily forklift inspections to ensure the safety and the ability of performing the operation.
- Reports equipment problems to area supervision.
- Loads and unloads materials manually off of pallets.
- Responsible for shipping and receiving functions associated with the warehouse.
- Responsible for securing all pallets by shrink wrapping pallets both manually and by using the pallet wrap machine, and by utilizing other securing devices as needed.
- Cleans and maintains forklift equipment.
- Maintains general housekeeping in the warehouse.
- Follows established department SOP's.
- Responsible for pulling all packaging supplies and raw materials for the production departments according to pick tickets, batch records, or any other relevant paperwork.
- Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
- Appropriately utilizes Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Other job duties as assigned.

- Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's).
- Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements.
- SOP's, equipment and safety practices.
- Warehouse processes and equipment procedures.
- Business English usage and spelling.
- Basic Math Computations.

- Following verbal and written directions.
- Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Reading labels and numbers on containers.
- Making corrections and writing comments in the batch record.
- Establishing and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
- Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Employees in this position are subject to extended periods of standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, vison monitoring, lifting of equipment or materials up to 50 pounds.
Minimal Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, medical device, food manufacturing/packaging environment.
