What You'll Do- Maintain work area and location organized and clean for orderliness at all times
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets, shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department
- Move materials and items from receiving and/or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas
- Perform a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, pushing, reaching, bending over, climbing, and kneeling
- Assist in performing inventory on material
- Assist in unloading and loading customers
- Inspect outgoing material for accuracy
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped
- Sort and place materials and items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
- Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization
What You'll Need- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to multi-task and manage time required
- Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders
- Must practice safe working habits and follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations
- Ability to be flexible, a team player and interact professionally with employees as well as external contacts
- Able to work overtime as business requires
Your Education- High School Diploma or GED preferred
