Warehouse Operator - Atlas Copco : Job Details

The Warehouse Operator provides the physical movement of product and components throughout the facility. This position will handle all functions in the Distribution Center including the order picking/packing process for distribution, the movement of material through shipping and receiving, put away of product and inventory and component picking for assembly. This position is 1st Shift, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm M-F.

• Responsible for following safety policies and maintaining safe behavior and attitude throughout the department
• Shipping and receiving duties
• Put away and handling of received material
• Maintain product identification and location control
• Packaging of parts and kits in preparation for shipment
• Picking orders for inter-company and external customers
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and data integrity
• Perform physical counts that are provided by the Inventory Controllers
• Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance
• Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
• Respectfully takes direction from lead, supervisor or manager
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education level:

• High School diploma or equivalent

Relevant Previous experience:

• Previous experience in a warehouse/distribution center setting is preferred

Knowledge areas/Skills:

• Proficiency with material handling equipment
• Have a working knowledge or understanding of ERP and inventory management systems along with basic computer skills
