This position will handle all functions in the Distribution Center including the order picking/packing process for distribution, the movement of material through shipping and receiving, put away of product and inventory and component picking for assembly. This position is 1st Shift, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm M-F.Responsible for following safety policies and maintaining safe behavior and attitude throughout the departmentShipping and receiving dutiesPut away and handling of received materialMaintain product identification and location controlPackaging of parts and kits in preparation for shipmentPicking orders for inter-company and external customersResponsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and data integrityPerform physical counts that are provided by the Inventory ControllersMaintains punctual, regular and predictable attendanceWorks collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperationRespectfully takes direction from lead, supervisor or managerPerforms other duties as assignedEducation level:High School diploma or equivalentRelevant Previous experience:Previous experience in a warehouse/distribution center setting is preferredKnowledge areas/Skills:Proficiency with material handling equipmentHave a working knowledge or understanding of ERP and inventory management systems along with basic computer skillsDiverse by nature and inclusive by choiceBright ideas come from all of us.
