**Position:** Warehouse Order Checker

**Location:** Emporia, KS

**Schedule:** Rotating 12 hour shifts

**Warehouse Order Checker Position Summary:**

The Warehouse Order Checker will be responsible for checking all orders for accuracy, damage, and shipping requirements. The Warehouse Order Checker will need to have strong attention to detail, a keen eye for finding damage, and be able to check and verify the correct pallets are staged in the load and damage-free. This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills.

**Job Requirements**

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience of the Warehouse Order Checker:**

* *2+ years of recent warehouse and forklift experience is preferred*.

* Forklift certification is required.

* One to two years related experience in SAP preferred

* Computer Literate

* Ability to effectively communicate (in writing and verbally) in a courteous and professional manner with others. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instruction.

* Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

* Ability to maintain a level of production that meets or exceeds the established guidelines. Ability to work independently without interruptions.

* Ability to verify paperwork necessary to insure customer is receiving correct product.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs.

* Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

* Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

* High school diploma/GED required.
