  • Shift: Full-time with a 12:00pm start time until finish
  • Schedule: Sunday - Thursday (Friday, Saturday)
  • Must be 18 years of age

Position Summary:

This position performs a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming product, picking, filling orders from stock, stacking, and wrapping product and/or building pallets. Warehouse Associates are active throughout their shift working independently using a voice-controlled system to select full-case dry, cool, or frozen products in a multi-temperature warehouse environment using powered material handling equipment.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Safely and accurately select customer orders without damaging the product
  • Build orders according to assigned tickets
  • Shrink wrap and label orders
  • Move completed orders to the loading dock or trailer
  • Accurately receive inbound products, replenish and manage inventory, restock pick aisles, and handle breakage using powered equipment. Use powered industrial equipment, such as a forklift, double forklift, electric pallet jack, or walkie-rider
  • Perform pre-shift equipment checks
  • Perform basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe environment, such as clearing aisles of debris and stacking empty pallets
  • Adhere to safety protocols including safety training, using personal protective equipment, and promoting a safety-first culture within the warehouse
  • Utilize various technologies to pick and select products, palletize products, shrink wrap, and load trailers
  • In this role, warehouse workers frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach with their hands and arms. They often lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 175 pounds in multi-temperature environments ranging from 32F to 100F
  • Work alongside team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment, assist with inventory management, and support colleagues as needed
  • Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a demonstrated attention to detail
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer background check and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 6 months of related experience in high endurance or highly physical activity or role, such as lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, landscaping, etc.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment in a multi-temperature environment
  • forklift certification
  • Stocking, rotation, product handling, local delivery, or unloading experience
  • Foodservice distribution, grocery store, or beverage delivery experience
