Warehouse Production AssociateRichmond, CA $20hr ( Weekly pay + Benefits)6 month contract ( Excellent potential for extension and permanent) Full-time: 10am - 6:30pm M-F Our client is a global team of innovators, leaders, creators, builders, and problem solvers. They develop state-of-the-art instruments and reagents for life science research laboratories and healthcare facilities all over the world. Together they are helping people everywhere live longer, healthier lives. Duties:
- Operate filling and packaging mechanical equipment.
- Read and understand technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, or other verbal or written instructions
- Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
- Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
- Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry. Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
- Your keen attention to detail will ensure all parts and products under your workstream in proper working order and meet the quality standards of our company and our customers.
- Your effective verbal skills will contribute to our team environment by allowing you to convey instructions or report issues to coworkers and supervisors.
- Your initiative and drive to complete your tasks with high quality and on time will enable us to fulfill our customers' orders on time and right the first time.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-8 years experience in Warehouse, Production or Manufacturing
- Ability to read, to write, understand easily, and follow written instructions ( can read directions to put things together)
- Some experience or ability to assembly products or worked in assembly line is a plus
- Experience or able to operate manual, semi-auto and automatic
- Can work 10am-6:30pm M-F
- SAP experience or similar is a plus
- Basic math, problem solving and computer skills
- Good communication skills required
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must pass background and standard drug screening
