JOB SUMMARY
  • The Warehouse Quality Control Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining MaxxSouth's warehouse inventory, compiling data, preparing reports, maintaining physical and electronic records, and performing clerical duties that pertain to warehouse operations.
  • The Warehouse Quality Control Clerk reports to the Converter Control/Warehouse Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The Warehouse Quality Control Clerk:
  • Maintains accurate records of CPE, materials, and supplies in stock at the Company's warehouses;
  • Assists in inventory control by performing CPE and materials audits to ensure accuracy in reported data, coordinating with Warehouse Lead to complete audits at off -site locations;
  • Identifies and reconciles found discrepancies in physical counts and inventory records;
  • QC of inventory batch receipts;
  • Assists the Company's billing team with monthly CPE reporting;
  • Creates and reconciles purchase order sheets for CPE, materials, and supplies;
  • Receives shipments using the Company's inventory management software, verifying accuracy of shipments and updating the corresponding POs;
  • Understands minimum and maximum inventory levels and works with the warehouse leadership team to replenish stock;
  • Maintains warehouse files, purchase order sheets, receiving logs, and inventory reports;
  • Obtains estimates and price details from pre-approved vendors as requested;
  • Follows and enforces the Company's policies and procedures, including the EEO guidelines and safety, at all times;
  • Performs any miscellaneous department duties as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or GED - Required
  • 1 year of telecommunications experience - Required
  • Warehouse shipping/receiving experience Required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Walking, kneeling, standing, stooping, sitting, driving, hearing, talking, vision (close, distant, color, depth perception, adjust focus), and use of hands and fingers. Lifting of 50 lbs. is occasionally needed. WORKING CONDITIONS
  • The Warehouse Quality Control Clerk is a full-time, non-exempt position. The regular work hours are 8AM-5PM Monday - Friday. These hours may vary to accommodate the needs of the department.
  • Overtime is required and must be approved in advance by the supervisor.
  • The Warehouse Quality Control Clerk reports to 101 Enterprise Drive, Starkville, MS.
  • The Warehouse Quality Control Clerk works in an automated business office environment with office equipment including telephones, personal computers, copiers, and FAX machines.
  • The Warehouse Quality Control Clerk is required to drive on the job as needed and is subject to regular MVR checks. He/she must maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record the meets Company standards for an insurable driver at all times. Any time these conditions are not met, he/she must not drive on the job and must immediately report it to their supervisor.
