Job Title: Warehouse Receiving/Shipping/Fixed Asset Coordinator Department: Finance/WarehouseReports To: Warehouse SupervisorFLSA Status: Non-ExemptStarting Rate: $16.17 per hourLicense: Work PermitClosing Date: Open Until FilledSUMMARY: All associated Shipping and Receiving duties for the Casino operations. Assists Financial Accountant, Fixed Assets. Maintains tracking systems for all inventory stored at the main warehouse complex and off-site properties. Tracks, coordinates, conducts and participates in warehouse inventory functions. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with guests, vendors, government representatives, and fellow associates.
  • Fosters a professional relationship with vendors and fellow associates.
  • Provides training and guidance to warehouse staff in operation and maintenance of organization's data entry system of accounting (NetSuite).
  • Works with all organization departments to track and maintain inventory and Fixed Assets to maximize space utilization in the main warehouse complex and off-site properties.
  • Prepares parcels for shipment and /or transport.
  • Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.
  • All associated receiving duties with Vendor deliveries, FedEx, UPS, DHL, and various other carriers.
  • Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
  • Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes.
  • Issues item identification numbers/labels for inventory stock items and Fixed Assets.
  • Maintains data entry for receipts of supplies, inventory, and fixed assets on NetSuite and Access - Offsite Warehouse DB
  • Maintains an accurate property inventory by departmental area and property location. This includes additions, changes, and deletions.
  • Assists the Financial Accountant in the process of evaluation, classification, reporting, and final disposition of capitalized and non-capitalized property.
  • Completes shipping and receiving reports, and updates logs.
  • Generates and issues reports regarding departmental inventory and assets to all departments of the organization.
  • Transfers goods and materials in a timely manner to all organizational departments
  • Ensuring to meet deadlines for transfer of goods and materials.
  • Performs cycle, periodic, and special inventory projects.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of the Warehouse Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Communicates clearly and concisely, both orally and writing using a variety of mediums.
  • Observes and promotes standards outlined in the organization safety policy manual.
  • Operates delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully completing the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years of responsible work in an administrative warehouse, including management of a computerized inventory and accounting system or related accounting system or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of organization's data entry system of accounting (NetSuite and MS Access DB). An understanding of the functional relationship of the documentary management of property, to include physical distribution, utilization and disposal. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, business correspondence and memorandums. Ability to write detailed correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one or small group situation to other associates of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Excellent math skills required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITY: Good organizational skills required. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. The position exists in a casino work environment, where the associate will experience occasional exposure to noise and cigarette smoke from the casino floor. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must obtain and maintain a St. Regis Tribal Gaming Work Permit which requires a criminal background check to be used solely for employment purposes. Successful candidates for employment must submit to and pass a drug test for illegal substances prior to employment being confirmed.
