Warehouse Shipper/Receiver - Channelview, TX - PCL Construction : Job Details

Responsible for pre-job safety instruction (PSI) and job hazard analysis (JHA). Safely tests and inspects tools and equipment. Promotes a safety culture. Selects and stores material, equipment, and tools to satisfy the requirements of the requisitions. Champion initiatives to reduce non-value add activities and streamline processes while maintaining or improving effectiveness. Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders. Responsible for housekeeping of the facility. Assists with the loading and offloading of material, equipment, and tools. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year warehouse operations experience Ability to safely operate forklift and other equipment to load/unload material. Effective organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly. Ability to understand and employ the companys specifications, methods, and procedures.
